LAX Police Continue Search For Owners Of Lost Wedding Album
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police at Los Angeles International Airport lost and found is asking for your help in identifying the owners of a wedding photo album that was left at the airport last year.
A briefcase left last September in the arrivals area of Tom Bradley International Terminal was found to have inside what Los Angeles Airport Police are calling an “astonishing wedding album” along with a mirror and linens from a wedding reception.
Photos from the album posted on the department’s Facebook page appeared to have captured the wedding ceremony of an apparent Middle Eastern couple, including a wedding hall at an unknown location with Arabic signage on the front of the building.

Police say they have not discarded the album due to its “sentimental value”. (Photo courtesy LA Airport Police Dept.)
While standard Airport Police protocol for lost items is to hold them for 97 days in lost and found before being either discarded or auctioned off, police say they would not discard the item due to its “large sentimental value”, authorities said.
But despite searching for over a year, police say they’re no closer to finding the owners.
A statement on the department’s Facebook page read: “We contacted the wedding hall and the designer at the contact numbers and address on the album and were unable to get any information from them.”
Anyone with information on the album or the couple is asked to contact the Los Angeles Airport Police.
