Norfolk International Airport to auction off lost and found items, cars
NORFOLK
If you lost something at Norfolk International Airport, you better find it before it’s gone.
Norfolk International Airport lost and found is auctioning off lost, found or abandoned items and airport surplus from its parking lot next week.
On Tuesday, an auction will feature abandoned vehicles and a myriad miscellaneous items such as laptops, iPods, tablets, jewelry, chairs and watches.
Some of the cars include a 2004 Kia Optima, 2001 Saturn L-100 and a 1998 Dodge Durango.
Airport spokesman Charles Braden confirmed the event is airport-sponsored.
The auction will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the long-term east parking lot at 2200 Norview Ave., near rental car returns. Follow signs for the auction, and bring your ticket for validation.
Preview and registration will begin at 9 a.m. Potential bidders can also register before the event. For more information about the auction, visit the Auction 757 website.
